When ICS 4.0.4 rolled out and was pushed to the Galaxy Nexus, some of the GSM handsets didn’t take to the update so well and decided to frustrate their owners with random disconnections etc. Google will now update once more to fix that problem.

Despite the new EVO 4G LTE announcement, it looks like a lot of people still want the vanilla Android experience and to be part of the “Nexus” group.
I have a feeling I’ll see a lot more Galaxy Nexus devices in the wild before the start of summer.

Checking In? Check out the updated app for Android - mostly just for Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S owners running ICS.
Finally…more uses for NFC!

For those who own NFC enabled devices, I know you’ve just been itching to use that feature. I for one have found very few applications for NFC on my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II.
Google Wallet has been around for a little while now, officially available on Sprint’s Nexus S 4G phone only. But it looks like things are changing slowly. Owners of the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus with activated AT&T sim cards, can apparently install and use Google Wallet now.
I’m not sure why this is the case, because AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have been working together with another company to enable NFC payment services.
In any case, get it while you can! I’m thinking this may just be a glitch. Oh, and please use Google Wallet it wisely…[be money smart].
