A Fancy Table →
I’m not sure if I have any uses for this, besides making it a conversation piece.  Practicality aside, this looks to be a nicely made table with an awesome multi-touch 32” 1080P display. This will probably cost a FEW pretty pennies.  Check the source link for a video of the table in action.

How High-Tech Turns into Low-Tech →
Yep. That’s it right there! There’s going to be a new line of furniture named N+ew. this stands for “No More Electronic Waste”. I just want to know if I can pick what shows up on the outside of my furniture, or if it HAS to be random.

Unlocked iPhones to Get [Some] Support from... →
It’s always refreshing to read a story about a service provider caring about their customers by offering their customers a service that they technically aren’t obligated to provide.  That being said, I have a feeling part of T-Mobile’s plan B after the AT&T merger fell through, is to make sure they get the next iPhone.

Macworld 2012 [SF]
As promised, I would bring you some news and photos from Macworld 2012.  This was my first time at Macworld. It felt a lot different from a show like CES. Overall it was nicely set up inside the Moscone West convention center and there were a lot of interesting vendors displaying all Apple related software, peripherals, and accessories. What struck me the most about this expo was the...

Blame Siri for Ruining Your Cell Service? →
An article published by the Washington Post points to Siri being a naughty girl hogging up all the wireless bandwidth. Unfortunately for the author and publisher of that article, that claim seems to be false.  You can read the link for more details, but I urge people to use common sense when thinking about how often people actually use Siri and how one could even begin to think that Siri uses...

Illegal to Jailbreak/Root Your Phones, Again?
Honestly, do people not have better things to do? wsupintech: It might be illegal again to jailbreak/root your iOS/Android devices, as the exemption granted by U.S. Copyright Office from freely accessing a device is about to expire. But there is hope! Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is stepping up to look for supporters to help renew the laws. In addition to phones, EFF is also pushing to...

I don’t have too much to say in response to this article.  Just read it & watch the YouTube video…I mean, really AT&T? REALLY? Thoughts?

Tim Cook Responds to NYT Worker Safety article... →
Earlier today I shared a post from the New York Times about Apple’s mistreatment of its factory workers abroad.  Tim Cook had this to say in response to that article. As a company and as individuals, we are defined by our values. Unfortunately some people are questioning Apple’s values today, and I’d like to address this with you directly. We care about every worker in our worldwide...

TWIT & TUAW meetups [SF]
MacWorld started today, but I was not in attendance. I’ll probably swing by this Saturday to see what the excitement is all about.  Tonight, both TWIT and TUAW hosted meetups near Moscone Center, (where MacWorld is being held) and I attended both. TWIT had theirs at 6pm and TUAW had theirs at 8pm. I apologize in advanced for the photos I’ll be posting tonight. I came straight from...

Executives Finally Speak Up Against Poor Labor... →
I woke up this morning only to read a lot of terrible news spreading around the internet about Apple’s lax factory worker regulations over in China. As most of you know, Apple designs their products in Cupertino California, but their manufacturing plants are all over China.  I recall the explosion and the suicides (from last year) at various factories that Apple contracts with, which...

An Increase in "Benefits" for Apple Employees →
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems difficult these days to not know someone who is/was employed by Apple.  Yesterday, news from Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, told Apple employees that there would be a special announcement today. It turns out that Apple Employees will get much better product discounts than previously offered.  Honestly, I think this is something they should have done ages ago...

Google Maps updated Today! →
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I love Google Maps. I love to use it on my computer, tablet, and phone. Google just keeps coming out with more and more goodies that I never use, but it’s great to know those extra features exist in case I ever need them.  I just hope they keep improving GPS accuracy, power management, and speed.  Go download the update…my phone just...

Samsung Galaxy S III Delayed? →
Well this comes as a bit of a disappointment to a lot of people interested in what Samsung has in store for it’s next iteration of it’s highly popular Galaxy S line of smart phones.  I personally own the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II - which I actually wouldn’t call a real S II because it doesn’t have the Exynos processor, but it’s still a pretty awesome device! ...

SOME T-Mobile subscribers will benefit... →
Let me start by saying that I am a T-Mobile subscriber.  Just about everyone has heard or read about the failed AT&T - T-Mobile merger that [almost] happened last year. Personally I’m glad our government played a role in making sure this deal never closed. Regardless of any opinions you may hold regarding large corporations, some of you are probably more interested about what happens...

Reinventing photography with light-field sensors  →
Like it or not, it’s difficult to dispute that Steve Jobs has made an impact on the world. More recently, the iPhone 4S debuted with a built-in camera and software (iOS) that truly enabled a thin mobile telephone to take some awesome photos and videos. I can see future Apple devices including advanced light-field sensors. If you haven’t heard or read about Lytro Cameras, now is the...

Ready | Set | Go!
Dear readers, I think it’s time for me to use this blog that I signed up for ages ago. In the [near] future I will begin sharing tech articles and my own photos (from tech related events that I attend) on this site. Generally I will refrain from writing long posts with the articles that I share, but I will write detailed descriptions for any original content that I post.  A little about...
